Hello - I am Sophie (English) and have renovated Villa Rosa alongside my husband Luca (Italian) and our two children - Mattia and Tallulah.
We have spent 3 years renovating the house and garden to a high standard and our wish is that others can enjoy relaxing in the atmosphere that we have created whilst of course respecting the fact that it is also a much loved home for us when we are in Italy.
We have a lovely manager - Claudia - who manages the house and is local so is on hand to help at anytime.
The Lunigiana offers the unique opportunity for people to experience the real Italy, which although popular with tourists is off the well beaten Tuscan track. The hamlet of Spicciano in which Villa Rosa is located is still inhabited by traditional and friendly Italian people who still work the surrounding land with its olive groves and grape vines.
